Como llegar a CIARP 2011 PUCON-CHILE (Spanish)

Ruta principal.

La verdad es que es muy sencillo el viaje. Efectivamente todos los vuelos internacionales ingresan a Chile a traves de su capital: Santiago de Chile. Desde alli es posible tomar un vuelo nacional para lo cual hay dos lineas aéreas LAN Chile (www.lan.com) y SkyAirline (http://www.skyairline.cl/es/index.aspx)

Dentro de las dos depende mucho la fecha que se tomen los tickets o billetes de vuelo, con mayor anticipación LAN Chile tiene mejores precios, ya en septiembre o posterior Sky tiene mejores tarifas (es decir valores mas económicos).

El avión viaja por una hora desde Santiago de Chile hasta Temuco. Pucon no tiene aeropuerto, para lo cual solo existe una sola alternativa de ir por carretera, ya sea ómnibus o bus desde Temuco.

El viaje por carretera desde Temuco hasta Pucon es extremadamente agradable y dura una hora.

La otra alternativa es llegar a Santiago de Chile y desde allí viajar directamente en ómnibus hasta Pucon, el viaje en este caso dura 8 horas por carretera. Dependiendo de las posibilidades resulta también muy atractivo arrendar un auto en Santiago de Chile en el aeropuerto y llegar a Pucon directamente. En este caso el tiempo se reduce a 6 horas y media aproximadamente.

La carretera en nuestro país es de doble vía y muy expedita con señaletica actualizada y con muy buenas indicaciones.

Alojamiento:

Nosotros como comité estamos haciendo muchas gestiones tendientes a tener concentrada la oferta hotelera con precios rebajados para los asistentes.

Estamos iniciando las negociaciones esto debido a que se debe tener claramente al menos un numero mínimo de asistentes cuyo valor se obtiene desde la cantidad de inscripciones. Con esto podremos obtener tarifas muy convenientes principalmente para personas que vengan acompañadas o solas.

Pucon es una ciudad muy pequeña, las distancias estarán especificadas en metros desde el lugar de la conferencia. Como referencia, esto no sobrepasaran los 1000 metros de distancia como máximo.

También estamos haciendo gestiones para disponer de un transfer desde el aeropuerto de Temuco a Pucon con precio especial para los asistentes a CIARP.

Todo esto para facilitar la llegada a la sede.

Main route.

The truth is that the trip is very simple. Indeed, all international flights enter Chile through its capital, Santiago de Chile. You can take a domestic flight from there. There are two airlines for this: LAN Chile (www.lan.com) and SkyAirline (Http://www.skyairline.cl/es/index.aspx)

The airline choice is highly dependent on the date you get the flight tickets. With greater anticipation LAN Chile has better prices, in September or later Sky has better prices (i.e. more economical values ).

The plane travels an hour from Santiago to Temuco. Pucon has no airport, so there is only the alternative of going by road, in a bus from Temuco.

The road trip from Temuco to Pucon is extremely nice and lasts one hour.

The other alternative is to get to Santiago de Chile and travel directly from there by bus to Pucon. In this case the trip takes 8 hours by road. Depending on the possibilities it is also very attractive to rent a car at the airport in Santiago de Chile and get to Pucon directly. In this case, the travel time is reduced to 6 hours and a half. The road in our country is two-way and very speedy, with updated signage and very good instructions.


Accommodation:

As a committee we are doing many efforts aimed at having discounted prices for attendees at the hotels.

We are starting negotiations now. However, to get a more precise price we should know at least a minimum number of participants, which will be obtained from the number of registrations. With this, we can obtain convenient rates for people who are accompanied mainly or alone.

Pucon is a small city. Distances will be specified in meters from the conference point. As a reference, it will not exceed the 1000 feet away.


We are also making efforts to arrange a shuttle from the airport in Temuco to Pucon, with special price for CIARP attendees.
All this to facilitate the arrival at the venue.
